New Family Member

Here is our latest member of the Brown Family. And yes it is another boy. He came to us at 6 weeks and is now almost 11 weeks old. he is only supposed to Weight in at 6-8 lbs full grown. He is a Malti-poo Named Joey. Why Joey because that was a name of a puppy Denise had when she was little and didn't get to see him grow up.

Thomas & Abby's 6th Birthday

We had a great day on June 6th. We got worried it might rain, but it turned out to be a nice day. They had a great party we ate Hawaiian Haystacks and Hot dogs for the kids who didn't want the good stuff. Lots of Fresh fruit. The kids got to swim and then have cake. We enjoyed company of great friends, who couldn't have asked for more. I made Thomas a scuba guy cake, chocolate of course. we had a pinata and the kids just loved it.

Schools out and I am sooo Glad! Everyone made the grade and is moving up.

I can't believe Stephen will be in High School at Clovis West next year. He is getting ready for seminary and 9th grade. He is excited to be in 3 honors classes and has made Chamber Choir. But his first adventure is going to Philmont in New Mexico with his Crew. They leave on June 23rd and will be gone 14 days. This year is a new experience for me to have my boy gone for that long.

David moves up to Junior High at Kastner. He made drum line playing the Bass Drum. It is bigger than he is. He has it this summer to get used to carrying it. Wow, does he have his work cut out for him. He has also signed up for zero period because he is taking Choir also.

Matthew moves on to 4th grade and I would be surprised if he will not be asked to take the gate test next year. He is great in math and if he isn't learning it he just has us make up problems so he can learn it. I don't know if he will do any sports next year it will be interesting to see. I am sure he will take choir like his other brothers.

Thomas will be in 1st and all day. He can't wait. He loves school and will definitely will miss Mrs. Hamilton. He is quite the swimmer and is looking forward to swimming all summer.

I however will be taking a vacation with Jen in our ward. We are driving to North Dakota where she spends her summers. We are going the long way and going through Salt Lake and see some other sites I have never seen. I will also be taking my first Airplane flight ever home. I will miss my boys & Mark but this is a trip I can't pass up. New experiences and a little R&R.

Stephen, will be celebrating his 14th birthday this week. Easter was fun. The break was a lot of fun, we enjoyed bowling, cleaning the yard, and an Easter egg hunt at woodward park. Jen Hiatt and I invited lots of our friends to Woodward park for a BBQ and easter egg hunt. We had a great turn out and it was lots of fun.

We went to woodward park and had our pictures taken.

Thomas

Thomas has grown and loves Kindergarten. He has done very well in school this year. He loves his teacher and is very into playing with different friends. This is a picture of him with his friend Abby. We are going to have their birthday party together this year. Thomas will be 6 this year and growing faster than mommy wants him too.

Matthew

Matthew is growing he is 9 now and He loves ECL. he enjoys the trampoline in the back yard probably more than anyone. he enjoys reading and has earned readers den almost 3 time over, That is almost 9000 pages this school year. Matthew and Thomas get along very well and play quite often together. He enjoys helping mom cook and clean, when it does not interfere with his shows.

David

David is becoming real active in Sports, some of his favorite is volleyball and football, however he can not play football yet until high school, he is just bigger that some of those tiny boys. He has been very active this year in Band & Choir and has started going to mutual. He likes it much better than Primary. He gets good grades when he wants to. He is looking forward to going on to Kastner next year. And is very glad Stephen will have moved on.

Stephen

How he has grown. Stephen will be 14 in just a few weeks, and he is taller than me. We am so proud of him. he is in Choir at school and church, he loves computer anything and is really good at it. He has straight "A's", and he loves movies (he does have Mark as a father). He is preparing to go to Philmont this year and has earned most of the money himself. Babysitting and even moving bees for a friend. He only got stung 2 times which was pretty good for his first time out.
