Life Changes

Well, a lot has changed since I last posted. Stephen is now a Priest in the priesthood, David is a Teacher and Matthew is almost 12. Thomas turned 8 and was baptized. I started working in Special Education as an aide. Mark is back in school to get his Special Education credential after a pink slip this year. Well, as time goes on we are back in a house and life is a little more comfortable. Thank You Heavenly Father for all your blessings.

Rusty

So we figure Joey needs a companion while we are not here. So off we go to pick up Rusty. He is very whinny on the way home and we wonder if we made a mistake. Now that he is almost 10 months old, we realize probably, with all the things he has chewed up, but he is so cute and soft and lovable it would be impossible to get rid of him at this point. We are too attached. Here is Mark not spoiling him. Thomas who just loves him and him finding an unusual spot to lay. He is about 7 weeks old here and will be 1 years old on May 10th ( a mothers day baby how special).
Wow! does time sure fly. We have been so busy. David has been doing winter drumline and Stephen has just finished his robot for Robotics. The first team at Clovis West in a long time. He is looing forward to going to UC Davis over the spring break for the competition. Thomas just recovered from Pneumonia. And Matthew is busy enjoying GATE. Wow again time flies. Matthew turned 10 (double digits) on Jan 21 and David followed on Feb 11 turning the Teenager of 13. This month we look forward to Mark's birthday on the 27th.

New Family Member

Here is our latest member of the Brown Family. And yes it is another boy. He came to us at 6 weeks and is now almost 11 weeks old. he is only supposed to Weight in at 6-8 lbs full grown. He is a Malti-poo Named Joey. Why Joey because that was a name of a puppy Denise had when she was little and didn't get to see him grow up.

Thomas & Abby's 6th Birthday

We had a great day on June 6th. We got worried it might rain, but it turned out to be a nice day. They had a great party we ate Hawaiian Haystacks and Hot dogs for the kids who didn't want the good stuff. Lots of Fresh fruit. The kids got to swim and then have cake. We enjoyed company of great friends, who couldn't have asked for more. I made Thomas a scuba guy cake, chocolate of course. we had a pinata and the kids just loved it.

Schools out and I am sooo Glad! Everyone made the grade and is moving up.

I can't believe Stephen will be in High School at Clovis West next year. He is getting ready for seminary and 9th grade. He is excited to be in 3 honors classes and has made Chamber Choir. But his first adventure is going to Philmont in New Mexico with his Crew. They leave on June 23rd and will be gone 14 days. This year is a new experience for me to have my boy gone for that long.

David moves up to Junior High at Kastner. He made drum line playing the Bass Drum. It is bigger than he is. He has it this summer to get used to carrying it. Wow, does he have his work cut out for him. He has also signed up for zero period because he is taking Choir also.

Matthew moves on to 4th grade and I would be surprised if he will not be asked to take the gate test next year. He is great in math and if he isn't learning it he just has us make up problems so he can learn it. I don't know if he will do any sports next year it will be interesting to see. I am sure he will take choir like his other brothers.

Thomas will be in 1st and all day. He can't wait. He loves school and will definitely will miss Mrs. Hamilton. He is quite the swimmer and is looking forward to swimming all summer.

I however will be taking a vacation with Jen in our ward. We are driving to North Dakota where she spends her summers. We are going the long way and going through Salt Lake and see some other sites I have never seen. I will also be taking my first Airplane flight ever home. I will miss my boys & Mark but this is a trip I can't pass up. New experiences and a little R&R.

Stephen, will be celebrating his 14th birthday this week. Easter was fun. The break was a lot of fun, we enjoyed bowling, cleaning the yard, and an Easter egg hunt at woodward park. Jen Hiatt and I invited lots of our friends to Woodward park for a BBQ and easter egg hunt. We had a great turn out and it was lots of fun.

We went to woodward park and had our pictures taken.
